At MNP Handwoven, every piece of fiber art is handcrafted, unique, and meticulously labored over to be the finest example of weaving. All materials and fibers used are of the highest quality, socially conscious, and luxurious. I perpetually strive to create distinctive new weaving designs, while dreaming up ways to subtly update classic styles with fresh modern appeal. Often I draw inspiration from the colors and geography of upstate New York (my original home), the Rocky Mountains of Colorado (my hearts home) and the desert of New Mexico (my current home). The observations I use as inspiration are as subtle as desert and mountain vistas or as objective as mathematical or geometrical formulas, each of which can be the springboard for a new design or collection. I would like to give you the opportunity to design with similar inspiration for a custom piece.
At MNP Handwoven, I painstakingly ensure that each weaving is woven with the same time-honored and trusted method that I have perfected over the many years that I have been weaving. I use only the finest quality and socially conscious fibers such as Tencel, Bamboo, Organic Cotton, and Tussah Silk. I do not machine manufacture any product or use computerized looms. I hand weave each piece on 8shaft or 16 shaft treadle looms. None of my weavings are mass-produced, each are one of a kind or limited edition.
To that end, I would like to work with you on finding colors, designs, or an inspiration for a product that you would want to be custom woven for you or as a gift. Please contact me at: and we can start collaborating. During times that I am busy at shows I will not be able to do custom orders. I will ALWAYS be willing to send you images of what I have available in current stock.
